Your first OG event
Your first event.
Here’s how it works.
You don’t need to know anyone at OG before you come. This guide explains how to sign up, meet the group, and get your questions answered.
Signing up and arriving
What happens after you choose an event?
- 01
Find your gathering.
Check the dates, eligible ages, costs, and program on the event page. Ask anything you need, then register using the event’s booking link.
- 02
Join the group chat.
After signing up, you’ll be added to the event’s group chat with newcomers and people who’ve been before. You don’t need to join daily meditation calls to come to an event.
- 03
Know where to meet.
Before you travel, the group chat is where you’ll agree on a meeting time and place. The organizer or someone from the group will meet you there.
It’s okay to have questions
Before you
pack your bag.
If you’re still deciding whether to come, these are a few things you might want to know.
Meet the team ↗Will there be people my age?
Each event has its own age range, shown on its page. Ask the organizer who’s coming if you’d like to know the age mix, especially if you’re looking for other people in their twenties.
Is it going to be meditation all day?
No. Spiritual sessions are part of the program, but we also eat together, do activities, and have time to hang out. Ask for the event’s schedule to see how the day is planned.
I’m unsure about joining a spiritual community.
OG is part of the Oneness Movement, and spiritual teaching is part of our events. Our homepage explains what happens in a session. If you have concerns about the teachers or practices, ask us about them before booking.
You don’t need to share private details in group discussions. If you need support during an event, approach the organizer; they can help or connect you with someone who can.
Explore the spiritual side ↗What if my parents are more excited than I am?
You don’t have to be excited about the same things as your parents. Have a look at the videos and event pages for yourself. You can message us directly if there’s something you’d like to ask before deciding.
For parents & anyone under 18
Before you book
for your child.
Before booking, go through the event details with your child and ask the organizer about anything that isn’t clear.
We explain the core teaching to newcomers before the sessions begin. The event group chat is used to arrange arrival. Participants don’t have to share private details during discussions. If someone is confused or uncomfortable, they can speak with the organizer, who can help or put them in touch with someone who can.
Before booking, check:
- The event’s eligible ages and named organizer
- Supervision, accommodation, and sleeping arrangements
- Consent, arrival and departure handover, and emergency contact
- The program, total cost, and cancellation terms
Arrangements vary by event. Check its page first, then ask the organizer for any missing details. Involve your child in the conversation, too.
